I love the colors in this photograph. It almost feels humid... he also took this with his iphone.

This is an album cover done by a graphic design group called Sons of Nero.
This is definitely a capture-the-moment kind of photo, and I really hope to be able to photograph concerts like this someday. I've struggled with the camera I have because concerts don't provide optimal lighting... but someday I'll get it.

These are by Courtney Beckett... I found them on this band's facebook page (The Academy Is...), and followed the link to her website. This caught my eye because I love when photographers put different pictures together like this... like slides... and I also love the colors and I want to learn how to make my photos look like this (whether its right on the camera or in photoshop). I want to do it.
Her website has a ton more pictures, and I encourage you to go look at them. The portraits are all really great and the music sections is cool too!
I found this on a website with pictures from various photographers at Olympic National Park. The Photo is by John Fowler and the link took me to his flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/snowpeak/5685496502/sizes/l/
I chose this one because it's a really great night photo. I'm not very good at taking well-exposed pictures at night, so this one caught my eye. I also like the feel of it... the time of day, the subtle yellow in the sky, the wispy clouds, the blue/gray of everything, the depth created by the interposition of the rock formations, the quiet emptiness of the shore, etc.

This next photo I found through the 'in-public' link. It is by Matt Stuart.
This one caught my eye immediately; the angle is obviously interesting in itself, but then the way he got the layers of people, all wearing black, and how everyone - including the pigeon - is in mid-step! I think this photo is so cool!
